A lot of people toss around the word “vision” to express what is in their heart to accomplish in their business, but it is much more than that. A vision is usually the change they would like to effectuate in the world.
Real visionaries see the world around them in a way that no one else does. They start organizations in an attempt show everyone how they can make the world better and how it can be done. The disappointing part is that most won’t see it their way.
If you are a visionary, don’t be discouraged! NO ONE will see the world the way you do, and no one is going to do as much work for you to realize that vision. Don’t expect others to be as invested as you, and don’t worry, there will be people who will help you because they SEE your vision.
Keep your vision at the forefront every decision you make for your organization. Ask yourself, does this get me closer to my goals? If it doesn’t , DON’T DO IT! Spend your time on things that get you closer to your goals and ones that fit with the direction you are moving.
